Hopefully my 2nd period will be “GoogleWaving” with our class from New York.  They have a list of questions that they want to ask us.  I have a listing of GoogleWave UserNames. The password for those Student~*~ accounts is buccaneers.

We will be working on your NOLA PhotoPeach movie (orrr if you are more comfortable using Photostory or MovieMaker you can)You must post to your blog a response to the prompt below

What does “Clothes make the person” mean to you?

The TEMPLATE for the NOLA poem is below.  You are to supply the missing words, adjectives, etc. to complete your poem.

  • New Orleans
  • 4 words to describe New Orleans
  • List 4 adjectives to describe New Orleans
  • Where you can go

List 4 places where you can go

  • Where you can see

List 4 things that you can see in New Orleans

  • Who feels

Using personification, think of 4 emotions that would describe New Orleans

  • Who was

Using personification, think of 4 things that New Orleans was in the past

  • Who will be

Using personification, think of 4 things that New Orleans can/will become

  • New Orleans

Using the template above we will write a poem about NOLA. Use this list of words to help you write your poem. Show off your creativity and post your poem on the CLASS BLOG in the comments

You will make your poem into a PhotoPeach movie.

Here is a sample of one that I did.  It took about 10 minutes so it is real easy to do.

We are using a general account:

Tomorrow we will be GoogleWaving with our friends from New York. They have some interview questions for us. You will be paired up with another student for the exchanges. Be good please.
