Obj1:  RI4 – Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text…

Act2: We will read and take notes from the Holt Reader about the Anglo Saxon period

Obj2: RI1 – Compare literary forms of major literary periods.

Act2: Students will identify the characteristics that make Gilgamesh part of the Anglo Saxon Period

Obj2: RL2 – Students will identify the characteristics of the Anglo Saxon period

Today we will read and analyze  . We will annotate the text and generate 6 quiz questions for the poem.

Everyone will need to sign up for Remind 101.

Homework for tonight is to create your own I come from poem.

  3. Act3: The class will go over syllabus and classroom procedures
  4. Close:  Students will share their posters
  5. Hmwk:  Students will list 10 things that they can do, 10 things that illustrate who they are and 10 things that they know to be true
